Project Description

Ecomify is an e-commerce platform built with a clear goal: to drive sales while creating a user-friendly experience. As part of a university group project, I took the lead in designing the pages using Figma and converting those designs into a fully functional website.

The Story

The project was created as part of a collaborative effort at university. My role involved designing the entire front-end of the website in Figma and then coding the pages with React, Bootstrap, CSS, and JavaScript. The site was designed for desktop first and later optimized for mobile.

My Approach

Focusing on conversion rate optimization (CRO), we ensured the site was visually appealing and easy to navigate. We integrated the Stripe API to handle checkout functionality, ensuring secure transactions. The site was built using MySQL as the database to manage customer and product data efficiently.
